Rachael Ragozzino, DVM

Dr. Ragozzino was born in Schenectady, NY. After graduating from Guilderland High School, she continued her education at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. From New York, Dr. Ragozzino traveled to Grenada where she attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her Veterinary Degree at North Carolina State University. Dr. Ragozzino’s heart belongs to a 6 year old Grenadian Pothound named “Squishy” who she adopted while in Grenada.

Throughout Dr. Ragozzino’s career, she has experienced several roles in the veterinary field from an Animal Care Technician while in High School to Technician’s Assistant during College and Veterinary Assistant while attending Vet School; becoming a Veterinarian in 2011. Dr. Ragozzino’s experience in multiple veterinary positions is what has made her the compassionate and talented Veterinarian she is today.

Dr. Ragozzino’s professional passion includes surgery and oncology. Her goal is to utilize digital medicine at her technologically advanced practice to offer progressive medicine to provide the best care possible for your pet. In addition to her love for small companion animals, Dr. Ragozzino is an accomplished equestrian.

Samantha Weglinski, DVM

Dr. Weglinski (AKA Dr. Sam) is originally from Duanesburg, NY. After graduating from Duanesburg High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor Degree in Biochemistry from Union College in 2011. Following undergraduate studies, Dr. Sam attended her first year of veterinary school at St. George's University in Grenada prior to transferring to North Carolina State University where she obtained her DVM.

Following the completion of her veterinary schooling and clinical rotations, Dr. Sam practiced in Charlotte, NC for 3 years. Despite the warmer winters, she and her husband realized that Upstate, NY is where they belong and made the move back home in 2018 when she joined CAMC as an Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Sam particularly enjoys surgery and internal medicine. Additionally, she has a passion for helping clients understand what is going on with their pets and how to keep them happy and healthy for years to come.

Dr. Sam and her husband, Cody, recently welcomed their first human child, their daughter, Scarlett. She was the perfect addition to their FULL house of fur babies including 5 cats, "Olive", "Sushi", "Jellybean", "Fig" and "Strudel" and two beautiful yellow labs, "Lucy" and "Lemon".

Meaghan K.

Practice Manager

Meaghan was born and raised in Colonie, NY. She graduated from South Colonie Central High School and later graduated from Schenectady County Community College in 2005 with a degree in Hospitality Management. Prior to the inception of CAMC, Meaghan worked in the hospitality field as a corporate meeting and event coordinator. During her career she traveled the world and played a key role in the day to day management of her Guilderland based business. Meaghan’s management and organizational skills, outgoing personality and passion for animals makes her a great fit as Practice Manager. Her goal is for clients and patients to have a wonderful experience at CAMC from start to finish. Meaghan lives in Rotterdam with her husband, where she is a proud dog mom of two rescue pups, “Kasey” and “Axel”.

Dawn C.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Dawn grew up in Colonie, NY and graduated from SUNY Delhi in 2004 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Dawn has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for the past 16 years, beginning her career right out of College. Dawn leads our surgical team and is an extremely skilled anesthesiologist. When Dawn is not in surgery, she particularly enjoys ultrasonography. Dawn and her husband live in Schoharie, NY with their 3 fur kids; “Lily”, a feisty but loveable Chihuahua, “Charlotte”, a beautiful Great Dane Mix and “Earl”, their goofy Great Dane.

Kelly P.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kelly grew up in Rotterdam, NY and knew from early on in life that she had an interest in working with animals. Throughout the years, Kelly worked many different positions in the Veterinary field; her longest being 12 years as a Veterinary Technician Assistant. Knowing she wanted to further her veterinary career, she continued her education to earn her Veterinary Technician Degree through Penn Foster. Kelly is now a Licensed Veterinary Technician and plays a key role in our facility as Pharmaceutical coordinator. Her professional interests include diagnostics, dentistry and oral surgery. Kelly continues to live in Rotterdam with her Husband, twin daughters, her silly Golden Retriever “Jake” and her mischievous cat, “Romeo”.

Allison P.

Veterinary Technician Assistant

Allison grew up in Rotterdam and has always had a true passion for animals, big and small. For the past 13 years, Allison has worked as a Veterinary Technician Assistant. At our clinic, Allison can be found at the front desk, assisting during treatments along with caring for hospitalized patients. Allison enjoys working closely with the clients and their pets which is obvious to all by the way animals respond to her. Allison lives with her Son and a house full of furry family members. Two Pitbull’s “Ralph” and “Leo”, one French Bulldog “Henry” and 4 Cats “Vinnie”, “Minnie” “Sonny” and “Steve”.

Kathleen M.

Veterinary Technician Assistant

Kathleen was born and raised in Voorheesville, NY and is a graduate of Voorheesville High School. Kathleen graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Studies from Cornell University in 2014. Currently, Kathleen is in a Veterinary Technician Program through Penn Foster. She has worked with animals (small, large, wildlife and exotics) for over 10 years. This includes her time working at a Wildlife Rehabilitation in South Africa where she worked closely with lion cubs, rhinos, baboons, caracals and zebras. Because of her vast experience, Kathleen has a passion for all pets that walk through the doors of CAMC. During her free time, Kathleen enjoys spending time with family and friends. This includes her Rabbit, “Merle”, who she takes on adventures, vacations and family outings.

Katie D.

Client Care Specialist

Katie was born and raised in Colonie, NY, where she also graduated from South Colonie Central High School. Katie has always been an animal lover and knew from a young age that she wanted to be in an environment where she can help pets. Katie’s love for animals, her bubbly personality and excellent customer service skills, make her a fantastic addition to the CAMC team. Katie now lives in Rotterdam with her fiance and two loveable pets, her cat “Asher” and her dog “Lola”.

Adam P.

Kennel Attendant

Adam grew up in Guilderland and currently resides in Altamont, NY. Adam is the unsung hero of our practice and can be found jumping in wherever help is needed. He has a true passion for animals and has a knack for making nervous pets feel comfortable. Adam loves spending quality time with our boarders and makes them feel right at home during their stay. Adam has a house full of pets including his 3 rescue dogs, “Kiara”, “Ace” and “Freya” and a handful of Ferrets.
